Representatives of Indonesia's Investment Coordinating Board visit Cinver

A delegation from Indonesia's Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), led by Djoko Sukmono, director of manufacturing industry planning, met with Liliana Macchiavello, executive vice-president of the Foreign Investment Committee (Cinver), during a visit to Chile to exchange information and experiences in the field of foreign investment. 

During the meeting, the members of the delegation showed particular interest in Chile’s system for regulating foreign investment, its mechanisms for the entry of capital and the legal requirements and procedures with which an overseas company must comply in order to establish operations in Chile. In addition, they explained Indonesia’s current policy and its similarities and differences with that of Chile.

The delegation also included Erma Dewi, BKPM’s assistant director for the chemical industry, Wisnu Wijaya, its assistant director for the metals industry, and Imam Soejoedi, head of its chemical products industry section.
